HFR – FJM

Functional Jaw Mobilization

Restore freedom, precision and natural function to the jaw.

HFR – FJM (Functional Jaw Mobilization) is an intensive, practical workshop dedicated to working with the jaw and temporomandibular joints from a functional perspective. It is aimed at specialists who want to work with TMJ consciously, precisely and effectively — without schematic techniques and random interventions.

This approach goes beyond simply "releasing" tense structures. Instead, it teaches how to restore the jaw's natural range of motion, coordination and economy of movement, so that tensions lose their function and the joint can once again work in a balanced way.

Why does FJM work?

The jaw is not a problem of one muscle or one point. TMJ disorders often result from improper movement organisation, compensations and established tension patterns.

FJM shows how to:

  • work with the jaw functionally, not forcefully,
  • restore physiological glide and range of motion in the joint,
  • normalise tensions in the masticatory apparatus without overloading structures,
  • create conditions in which the jaw regains its balance on its own.

This is work that does not "correct" the joint — but enables it to return to its natural function.

HFR – FJM

What will you learn during the workshop?

functional mobilization of the jaw and temporomandibular joints
working with the fascia of the masticatory apparatus at rest and in motion
improving TMJ range, glide and coordination
precise contact and reading tissue responses
safe manual work in the jaw area
incorporating FJM into daily therapeutic practice

The workshop is 100% practical — focused on real skills that you can immediately apply in your work with clients.

Who is this workshop for?

manual and fascial therapists

physiotherapists and osteopaths

therapists working with TMJ

Holistic Fascia Release practitioners

specialists who want to work more precisely and effectively with the jaw

If you feel that working with TMJ can be unpredictable or burdensome — FJM brings clarity, structure and calm to this area.

What does FJM change in your work?

After the workshop:

Your work with the jaw becomes more precise and safe,

clients feel improvement in TMJ comfort and function faster,

you stop "fighting" tension — you start guiding the process,

you gain tools for working with difficult, sensitive structures,

your work becomes less physically demanding and more effective.

HFR – FJM Philosophy

Functional Jaw Mobilization is not a set of jaw techniques. It is a way of thinking about TMJ as a dynamic, adaptive system.

Movement, precision and quality of contact become the language of communication with the tissue. You — as a therapist — do not force change, but create conditions in which the jaw can make that change itself.
